Interconnect cable for GS-1000?

Hello Head-fiers,

I need some advice from you cable gurus in order to finding out the right interconnect cable for me. My rig will be Xciter DAC, AMP, and Grado GS-1000i. I would like the price to be under $250 with .5m
Some characteristics I'm looking forward is upfront mid and tight bass. I've looked at PBJ, Picollo, and BJC LC-1 but seriously lost.

I've tried APS interconnect before but it wasn't the one I was looking for

I absolutely love my Kimber Hero RCA interconnects. They sound fantastic in my rig (see my signature).

The PBJs are really good for the price, but I much preferred the Heros.

Whats the sonic difference between pbj and hero?

the PBJ is a bit sweeter - they let you really savor the music

i find the Hero has more substance and presence, with a really full sound from end to end
