Instructions for recabling Sennheiser HD 238?

Brand new to this website and I found it after googling info to recable my sennheiser hd 238.  The connector went out and rather just just replacing that I figured I could put an entire new cable on.  I have never done recabling before and only some minor soldering.  I realize the HD238 are not the most high-end of the sennheisers but I would rather not chuck them out when I could possibly save them.  If anyone has instructions/info on how to go about something like this I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks!

Then you desolder the old cable, solder in the new, et voilà!
Here's a guide on cable assembly.  Just don't put a second plug on the other end of the cable, lol.  I imagine that Mogami 2893 or 2929 would be best for recabling HD238.  You should probably remove the outer jacket and shielding then sleeve the cable with nylon multifilament braid for best fit in the headphone.
