Hi

I'm someone who can only afford budget gear and am in search for the best I can get for my money.

Simply, I'd like to ask if there is much, if any difference, in sound quality and signature between the Wharfedale 101s and Yamaha HS5? I currently have the Wharfedale's rigged with an Aune T1, connected to two TP3116 amps that power the bookshelf speakers.

Would love to hear your opinion I'm familiar with the vocabulary and language used to describe sound so please don't hold back.

They are two different types of speakers. The Wharfedales are stereo bookshelves as the Yamaha's are studio monitors. The sound will be different yes, I own the Wharfedale diamond 220s but cannot attest to how the sound is different than the Yamaha
