Information about 'HeadRoom Home' available?

Headroom has 30 days satisfaction Guaranty, so you can try it to see whether it is worth the money or not.

These days I am using Headroom Maxed-Out-Home, my HD-650 sounds great!! The major difference between Maxed-Out-Home and Home is, Maxed-Out-Home has separate Toroidal power supply and separate left/right channel amplifying circuit.

I have a 1996 HeadRoom Home which I preferred to both the X-Can V3 and Grado RA-1 -- both of which I purchased earlier this year and returned. I then purchased a 2004 Maxed Out Home which raised the performance bar a notch.

So, I then sent back my old Home to HeadRoom to upgrade to the Premium Module. I also upgraded the volume control from the original Clarostat to the now standard Noble pot. I can say now that the difference between the two is very close, with the MOH showing its superiority only on well recorded program material.

Hope that helps.

I have a Headroom Home, the same model on Audiogon, that I got off ebay for about the same price. I use it with the Sennheiser HD 650, and it sounds pretty good. At first I wasn't very satisfied with it, sounded bright, bass wasn't very strong. I was using a PS Audio Ultralink dac and Kimber Kable PBJ cables, then I switched up the cables to Black Mountain Gold Peak ic's, it made a world of difference. So I guess you just have to make sure what kind of cables/source you are using, because this can make a big difference in the quality of the amp. This amp sounds even better with Sony CDR 3000's. Anyway for that price you can't go wrong.
