I need to find someone a cheap pair of phones that will block out the sound of several annoying coworkers. Sound quality is not a big issue, she's not an audiophile. How well do Sennheiser's mx series isolate? Is there anything else in the $30 or less price range you guys would recommend?

if sound quality is not an issue and $30, maybe try Koss Plugs, Sony EX70, EX51, EX71.

I'd be wary of getting the EX70 or EX71. I bought the EX71's and currently they're my most disappointed earphones (other than some stock phones). I know you mentioned that sound quality is not a big issue, but I bet you can find better phones for your friend for the same price or less.

i heard the mx leaks alot, and they wont block out anything. but i'm also going to get the sony ex for isolating purpose. the ex71 is sold at audiocubes.com for $46. i'm sure many people here have them that is willing to sell for cheaper price.

dont know whats with dragonlong, but i think many people love the ex71.
