I can come up with decent amps between $50 and $100 with enough juice to drive these (around 800mW@32Ohm), so that's less of an issue. I'll be listening at comfortable medium volumes most of the time anyway.
What I need is a good, inexpensive DAC that will not roll off the sub bass frequencies.
Cayin C5 DAC at $200 is more than I want to spend.
I'm ok with both portable and desktop setups.
Any decent options?
Or is low frequency roll-off something I don't even need to worry about with any reasonable source? I'm doing 90% of my listening on a computer or laptop, through the 3.5mm jack. I don't have a great ear for high fidelity sound, don't listen to lossless sources, I'm just a bass head and don't like to lose out on any of the low frequencies
