I'm new to the android world and am trying to find an inexpensive Android device that I could use as a DAP that supports 200gb micro SD cards.

I see lots that support only 32 oe 64gb tops, so I don't want to mess up and get the wrong one.

Note, I'm not looking for a dedicated android DAP with super sound quality, this is going to be used on in a place where power consumption is important.  And I'm not sure I can go back to the pure DAPs, I think that I want the more powerful media apps available via Android.

The Moto X Pure is the cheapest that I've found so far. Most sales have it at $250.  (Well aside from the Chinese Intel Android tables, that all drop in around $150-200).

Budget -- well, ideally it would be around $150 + $100 (200gb microsd)  Much beyond 250, and it starts to get into the same range as full DAPS.

Highscreen Boost 3 Pro, Russian smartphone with a big 6000mAh battery, not only that but it has ESS Sabre ESS9018K2M DAC and a  Analog Devices ADA4897-2 amp. Also it has 256 GB sd card capacity. Costs as low as $200 but not sure if they ship internationally.

No, it's going to sit at the nav station on a sail boat.  So it could be a 10" tablet... all the way down to a 4-5" phone.

I did find the moto G, from amazon for $150.  But it seems to stop at 128GB.

No go on The g3. If you want decent output. the moto x *** speakers are loud as hell and sound decent minus any appreciable bass. And the head output is pretty good for using the Qualcomm DAC. Flat response and good volume and stereo separation. I have an HTC M8 I hardly use, mostly in the DAP mixand it looks like it was never used. Better headphones out put, *** don't get as loud as moto x but sound much better. I could sell you that on Swappa with 128GB sd card if interested. PM me and we can discuss.
