Hey i'm looking for a stereo-mini cable (3.5mm-3.5mm) to connect my DAP to the aux-in in my car. Are there any out there around 6FT for a decent price (say around $20US)? I know most would say I would be hard pressed to find one that's considered high quality at that price at that length.

I guess i could just get a belkin one from the department stores, and live with that.

Thanks in advance.

I use a Belkin that I bought at Wal-Mart. IMO it is pretty good quality for the price. The website says $5 and not available in store but not true. Mine hasn't shorted yet after many months. For this purpose anything more would be a waste of money.

You could buy a couple of these for $0.65 each
Redco Audio

and then 6-7' of this for $0.48 a foot, a bt of solder and you have a real high quality cable. Plus if it breaks, you can fix it, unlike the molded end cables.
Redco Audio. The StarQuad will fit the Neutrik 231L connectors perfectly, so no heatshrink, sleeving, etc. required.

Amazon has everything. Monster cable could be for you.

DIY.
Radio Shack Gold Series.
Redco Audio custom built.
Blue Jeans Cable custom built.

6' is longer than I prefer for the car. You can tape a piece of string to your stereo & DAP to find out how much you really want. 3' will be the next shorter length in store bought, so if you don't like those choices, you can go custom.
