  Continuing to use obsolete R2R DAC chip maybe using Analog Device or Burr Brown Chip, but need to make sure the parts is easily to get.
Or moving to Delta Sigma DAC I will love to use AKM Chip, not interested with ESS chip after ES9023. Last year, I was playing with AK4490 and I'm happy with the result. I would love to use AK4497 but need to wait till that easily available and hope the price will going down.

 
AK4497 is the best of the modern DAC's in my opinion. TJ I very much look forward to P1 and your future modular R2R dap and other projects!

I like D100, D200 and also Zishan series DAP, they also use modular type, and give a rollable opamp option for users.
