Increasing max volume on ipod nano 2G

is there any way to increase max volume on ipod nano 2G, bought in uk?
I'm using Creative EP-630 earphones and they are kind of alright just a bit too quiet... Is there any way to make the music sound louder?

This application works for my 1G iPod nano. Might work with the 2G nano as well.

It says "iPod not detected"

I have the same model and I never found an app to do what you'd like.

At least it was worth a try...
I don't own a 2G nano, and don't know of any suitable applications. Except for GoPod, which sadly don't work for the 2G nano
