does using the cross feed cuircuit effect the sound in any way?

do we loose a little sound quality getting the crossfeed?

in the quest for the best sound are we better off without extra circuits at all ?

Im not attempting to discuss crossfeed plus or minuses but just the sound quality cost of using that circuit

Personally, I like the crossfeed.

Used it on 2 TAH's I own and loaner Little and Cosmic. I think it improves the overall listening experience at, possibly, some very small degradation of overall sound quality.

To me it's a good trade.

I have used the crossfeed on a Supreme, Little, and Total Airhead (3v).

The Little and Supreme have "filter/tone" switches to use in case you don't like the effect the crossfeed has on your sound.

YES, to me, the Crossfeed does effect the sound.

Some loss of highs, some muddiness in lows. The filter switch does help in this case.

I personally don't use the crossfeed.

I don't think it really hurts the music in the off position.
