Hi guys,

I have purchased my first electronic drum kit and have been looking since for some reasonable quality headphones to use with it. I have done part of the homework but cannot decide what to go for as i am reading so many different reviews and its, quite frankly, doing my head in!!!!

I have started off with looking at the Sennheiser HD200 and HD212, then i moved onto AKG K55 and K66, still not sure. Then i was recommended Sennheiser HD200 and i have thought, yeah, still good price about £40 now and they should do the job, cause i don't really want to spend more then that! Now i came across another make Beyerdynamic DT231 or how about Behringer HPS3000???? Please can someone help?

What i need: closed, comfort, good sound quality cans for e-drums but i would like to listen to my portables too....so in a nutshell some allrounder with the £40price mark....that's about $80 right - for US users ;o))))

thanks a lot!!!! make me....

Have you consider Sony MDR-V6 (not V600) or Sennheiser HD280pro? They are both closed and commonly used by many recording studios around the world. It doesn't mean they are the best, but they are very rubust and good isolating phones for under $100.00 USD.
