I know you guys probally cover this over and over again but I need answers right away. I have a set of Sony MDR-V600, they are pretty old and Ive been meaning to get a new set of cans, but cant decide. Anyways I stepped on them last night and they are broken.
Now I want to get new phones right away.
The New ones will mostly be used for a portable mp3 and cd player, and some computer use.
I think I like the feel of a full size sealed headphones. But Im not sure. I checked out Headroom and Only Ones that I like that fit my budget of 100 or less are the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro.
Heres my Question will all the new cans be alot better then my sonys, and what type are they medium sealed or open, Im not sure what I like, But I dont like when the pad is on top of the ear.
And Am I correct in saying that a open head phone lets the music out more than a sealed, what are the pros and cons of this.
Also if you guys can recommend some other cans that would be great too, that you think would work for me. I consider myself a audiophile I love music and like it to sound good too.
Thanks
Matt
