Hi. I am currently playing selections from Bach's famous Six Sonatas and Partitas, S. 1001 - S. 1006.

I am looking for audiophile recordings of these famous pieces by J.S. Bach. I am currently tackling Partita No. 3 in E Major and could use a well-done recording to accompany this practice as it would benefit me greatly. I am planning on eventually playing all six of these pieces.

Does anyone have any suggestions for audiophile recordings of this music?

Have you tried Hilary Hahn's version? It's very well recording! You will like it!

Perlman/EMI sounds great IMO.
Nice dynamic range, very detailed.

I don't think you can ever go wrong with Nathan Milstein's renditions of this masterpiece!
