In need for some expertise regarding first headphones

HI all, I’m Sebastiaan From the Netherlands.
 
I’m looking for some advice regarding some good cans.
My knowledge regarding sound is very limited, meaning I’m not used to the terms used and I’m not certain on how to listen.
 
I’m looking for a headphone for:
.
Gaming (shooters, not most important part).
Movies (not really important)
Listening Music (important)
Rock/blues (Think about Crossroads guitar festival, and all other Music involving guitars.)
Electro (deep house, daftpuk, prodigy etc)
 
I will connect the cans to a computer equipped with a Creative ZxR (with headphone amp build in)
I have read on this forum this is not desirable but this is what I have at the moment.
 
Currently I only listen to the simple headphones which are:
Sennheiser px100 (rev 1) (on ear)
Senheisser cx300-II (in ear)
 
I like the sound they produce but I’m missing warmth and bass and behind my pc I would like to have a full size headphone.
 
Now the challenge is to find a full size headphone to use.
Budget is up to around 250 euro but if not required I’m defiantly willing to spend less.
 
My own idea’s are:
Senheiser HD 598
AKG K167
HIFI MAN HE-300
Senheiser Momentum
 
Sound signature I’m looking for:
I like my music to sound a bit warm and detailed.
Due to the guitar music a bit of bass so I can enjoy the vibration’s of the strings.
 
I know this is bit of a hard question asked over and over again. Still I will appreciate all help I can get.

The 598s are overpriced so skip them , the HE-300s are nice but they have some problems

He describes them to be a improved 240 but free of the 7XX signature which is a acquired taste I guess , also the Beyer Pro's are world class

They match your signature preferences except they don't like synthesised bass and they scale up like the 240 which scale up nicely according to many

Here the 598’s are 180 euro (which is not to expensive?)
The HE-300 are 250 but what are the down sides of the He-300?
 
Ill have a look at the AKG 612 and see the review (unfortunately after work)
When I type it Byer pro in to Google I find DT-770, DT880 and DT-990.
 
Which one is the interesting one?
 
And as I’m new to headphones I do not know what scale up means?

Scaling-Up basically means better sound with better equipment

The 770 - Bright and Bassy with scooped out mids and "Total harmonic distortion" that is another story - CLOSED 
The 880 - Neutral - SEMI-OPEN
The 990 - Bright and Bassy with scooped out mids - OPEN

An inconsistent product is fun if the price is right and 250euro is to much to take a chance. Regardless of the costumer service.
 
The comments on the 770 and 990 are identical but one has an open design and one a closed.
 
As I will use them at home the sound leakage won’t make a difference. But I have read that open has a wider sound stage (what ever that may mean) and less bass. I have also read that closed cans may be little less accurate sound due to bouncing in the can it self?
 
I have listened to the HD 598 which sounded really great (please note I’m not used to listening so in my opinion a lot sound great)
Also listened to the K167 (colleague owns them) and sounded deep and good. But it was via a portable device and they sounded a bit (don’t know how to put it) muddy like I had to give it some more volume to hear all instruments separately.
 
I know the hd 598 is a open design and the k167 is a closed design. Is the difference always there between closed and open design?
