In-line spell check not working. FF_2.0

Is there something you have to do to enable the in-line spell check in firefox 2.0? I don't think mine is running or something is wrong with it.

* In the filter field type layout.spellcheckDefault
* Double-click on the entry and in the pop-box enter 2

still isn't woking for me. look at what furyfox let me type without any kidn of woarning.

dunno if this applies to both PC and Mac:

Firefox > preferences/tools > options
Advanced > General tab > "check my spelling as i type" (enable/disable)
