In-ear monitor for metal and pop?

Im using the DUNU-2000J currently, which is good for what I need, but I'm just wondering what you guys would suggest. Thanks

I thought Campfire Polaris was pretty dang good with both.

No idea, I've never heard the DUNU-2000J so can't compare: I'm assuming you're looking for something a bit more V-shaped, that's what immediately comes to mind when I think pop/metal personally, and that's something the Polaris does REALLY well. A lot of good stuff in that price range though.

Sounds good But I'm only using it with my laptop with spotify though.... what other suggestions do you have?

Can't really suggest anything else, the Polaris is the only one I've heard in that price range. Maybe check Acoustune IEM's and IMR R1?

I enjoy my IBasso IT03 with a large genre of music. They are great all rounders. $250
I’ve been enjoying a pair of Tin Audio T2 IEMs which really have a great liveliness to them with great separation of instruments $43. Pretty easy to drive, great sound and inexpensive. You’ll be surprised.

But I mean, mainly using it with a laptop, should I not go for monitors with prices like the acoustune?
