I'm not worried about them breaking, drivers can take way more abuse then the vacuum my ears give them.

I guess my left ear, needs foamies that remain pinched as I insert them.

Never say never, I had a pair of iBasso IT01 develop crackling noise with bass notes in the left earpiece after a violent flex. Was listening to music when a friend with a wild hug came out of nowhere, grabbed at my noggin & pressed on the left earpiece.. which never sounded the same afterwards. That was extreme driver flex, but it happens.

Sorry for your loss. My issues with the FH3 taught be to mind the sets with driver flex just in case.
