The Ebay store is closed and IMR website says everyone away till 17th of November so radio silence maybe linked.
17th of November ... of what year? 😁

If they are trying to launch a new model, they may be "out and about" with the OEM suppliers, perhaps? Hugely unlikely, but it would not be the oddest thing that's happened in this thread.

And also bringing back a stock of their long-awaited DAP in a suitcase! 😂

To now play the victim because people do not return the money that they themselves have sent by (mistake?), when they owe a lot of money to a lot of people for a long time, seems to me at least petty and an insult to all these people. Maybe we should tell them enough is enough and send them an email with the same terms of claiming payment through debt collection agencies.

Has anyone received an email from IMR recently.
I got an email saying IMR is surprised that the funds have not been returned yet and the matter will be passed on to legal next week !
Email Slsounds like a threat to me.
How are they going to go legal I don't even live in the same continent !

Bob is developing into an even bigger crook than he already was

Bioibon, please can u tell, have you already made a return?

I don't know what to do. As I wrote earlier, my bank can't just cancel the payment. I only received one standard letter from September 4 with a threat. I haven't received anything else before or after that. I have never even received a letter with a payment link. I asked them to send me some kind of official request to my postal address or to my bank so that I could understand that this is not a scam, but there has been no information for 2 months.
I can't install the app TIDE Business bank or create an account in my country because of sanctions. Can u explain, the link they attach to the payment: can I pay there without registering in? And how do I pay if I receive a link in squareup?
Another question. I had a purchase for 280 pounds sterling, but the card I paid with was in dollars. I received 354.54 US dollars on my card, if I pay 280 pounds, then I have to pay 365 dollars because of the reverse conversion. What should I do? Why should we pay extra? In fact, the card is not mine. I asked a third party to pay because the sanctions did not allow payment through my bank. The card is already closed (we did not go only to close the card account. We thought it would close automatically after some time). Now I have to bother another person so that he wastes his time. So many problems because of this now.
And most importantly: how can we check that we are paying them and not someone else? As far as I understand, there is no confirmation. Even the purchase status does not change on the website.

What's the problem with creating a section on the site for returns, sending everyone a personal (loyalty) code, as they always did with b-stock, and for us to make the payment through their site, making sure it's legal?

Be interesting to know if the account receiving any of these refunds is the same as the old business account

Wouldn't surprise me if Bob has passed ownership, directorship or other responsibilities away from the original selling account
This means he can try and avoid any Tax/VAT he owes and potentially hide from administrators etc

If anything he was doing was 100% legit then he would be refunding those poor folks who have ordered various products akd seen nothing and had all correspondence ignored

He is doing the same now as he did with Trinity
Said it before and I'll say it again, he makes good earphones, I've had a fair few, I've defended him strenuously and often with some embarrassment especially over on Drop when he was only a couple of IMR models down the line.

No more though, if and when he releases a new model under any guise, I will do my utmost to warn people against dealing with him.

More frustrating is we know he reads the thread but he's too much of a coward to front it out

No nothing at all.
I guess there's two ways people should look at this (based on my own moral take on things):

1. If IMR owe you money or product (like an undelivered Event Horizon or Zion) and have refunded you, you should 100% take any monies owed off any refund they accidentally sent you before contemplating making a refund to them.
2. If IMR dont owe you any undelivered items / payment for buyback iems et. And sent you an accidental refund, you SHOULD make arrangements to pay them back, as irrespective of whatever else isn going on with them, it's the right thing to do. HOWEVER, take every necessary precaution to make sure that any refund you make can't then be requested again by the seller via automated bank reversal or anything similar before you make any payment. I'm other words, be 100% sure if you send this money back, IMR have no means of taking any more off you at a later stage.

This is just my opinion, as I have zero skin in this game after getting a partial refund / exchange on my o/s Zion and Na-Le about a year back. If anyone disagrees, can happily see all sides of this particular argument so not wishing to start a debate - at the end of the day, each affected customer just needs to do what feels right FOR THEM. This is probably the strangest situation I've seen in audio (or any business), so we're so far past "right" and "wrong" in this scenario you'd probably need to follow a map just to get back to the same county as both of those concepts.

Totally agree with your points around whether to pay back IMR, worth noting though that this strange situation is now a second time back for a company that Bob is involved with or owns. Makes it less strange and should serve as a warning for the future
