The fact that he's posting up yet another new IEM without having delivered the Zions or Event Horizon is crazy for sure. But if anyone is shocked they haven't followed IMR for long, this is standard operating procedure.

But he delivered Na le and Enigma, both turned out to be pretty good iems.
Whats the deal with Zion ? In case hes forgotten how to make them he can always offer a refund !

I have 2 iems with them one for buy back and one for examination / repair, and i have no idea whats happening with them !
I wonder if they will let me know anytime soon.

You know, I've been spending some time with the Kotori Vampire as I have replaced my NaLe with it on the Nyx BT cable.
It has this very organic warm mids forward sound, very objective without much coloring. Unfatiguing and smooth, good and not treble piercing treble. You can really focus on the vocals which are not super detailed but sound full and natural. Really nice little IEM, single BA, quite affordable.
Then I switch to Enigma and its like an explosion occurs. Everything is more spectacular but also weird. Its like my brain tries to follow what the ear present to it. Again this feeling that I am not listening to a studio album but the same album live. So much energy. I am not saying this is a good thing or a bad thing. It is still a confusing experience to me.

My Dark Matter has arrived. I picked it up from the post office. The customs were around 15 Euro for this parcel. The condition is very good as I do not see any defects or scratches. My Dark Matter is now connected to a NiceHCK DragonScale cable and it is burning in. The sound is bassy with a lot of authority, good soundstage and imaging. A very very good dynamic driver.

I bought a pair of Penon Fan 2 from an ebayer and am very impressed with them. Bass is along the lines of IMR and it is very coherent throughout the whole spectrum. The faceplates are also a piece of art!

Avalon has bigger housing.
DM is DD plus Conduction motor.
I have a pair returned to me from a friend after a year or so.
It will be interesting to A/B them to my NaLe!

Nicely described. There is no doubt that Enigma has a lot going on sound wise.
