I forgot to remind IEM owners that they need to change the polarity (+/-), inside the IEM you need to turn the socket 180 degrees. This needs to be done only for those who use third-party cables, and not the supplied IMR cables.
The fact is that the IMR uses reverse polarity.
When you turn the socket inside the IEM, the bass and overall sound will be correct and will sound as it should.

@mekap what does turning the socket 180 degrees mean ?
I use an Effect Audio cable.
Can you show us a picture of what this means !
I just plug in the ea cable the way its meant to.

@mekap i can see a dot on the cable near the 2 pin connector left and right sides.
But my cable the EA Code 23 has ear hooks. How do i reverse the 2 pin, the ear hook goes below the ears then !
This is just weird ! It sounds weird too ! I tried it

That opposite polarity fact only relevant for few first IMR models (as I remember, R1 and Zenith) if I remember correctly.

I think the reverse polarity was "debunked" a year or more ago.

everyone who was skeptical about my message about reverse polarity, you can verify the truth of my statement, it’s quite simple to check, take a multimeter and check the polarity of the IMR cables, it will be different from the polarity of third-party cables.
To change the polarity in the IEM IMR, you need to remove the cover (faceplate) by unscrewing two screws, then carefully remove the transparent socket (female) from its place and turn it 180 degrees.
The red wire soldered to the socket is +

Believe me, you will hear the difference in sound, I heard the difference in sound.

There are hundreds of speakers phase tests online, you can just check those first.

Oh so it's not just reversing the 2 pin on my cable and then putting it in the iem 2 pin slot !
Some sort of surgery required here !
Sounds tough. I'm sure i will mess this up.
