Just got my imp-350 and I am loving it. However I want to make sure there is nothing wrong with it. When switching tracks accross the entire cd (for example going from track 1 to 21 on an audio cd) is the motor supposed to be audible? I can probably hear mine from 5 feet away.

I remember with my Riovolt SP150, I could hear the CD through my headphones when it was playing an MP3 disc. It was horrible. I don't know HOW the sound was transferred through my phones, but it did, and wow, was it annoying.

I can hear my iMP-150 motor but not from that far away... Maybe 3 feet or so.

Then again that is a pretty big hop so the motor may really spin up for a few seconds... my guess is that so long as the sound doesn't persist being that loud during playback you are fine.
