Hey guys,
I was in a bind earlier and have decided I am going to either go with the S4 or the X10s. The S4s are 80 dollars and I can get the X10 new for 200. Are the X10s that much better for 120 more?

The Image S4 is, in my opinion, very good and competitive for the price. But you're asking about two very differently priced products.

Yes, the Image X10 is, to my ears, substantially better, but is priced a lot higher. If you can spring for it (and your message suggests to me that you can), the X10 is the way to go.

Another POV. I had the X10 and S4 at the same time, and while I don't have Jude's credentials, I found the price difference not worth it, once I had the S4s burned in properly, so I sold off the X10s. Just my view. I A/B'd them several times and just came away feeling the S4s were a better value. And I had gotten the X10s for $175 during the Klipsch 50 percent off sale. I also find the Ety bi-flanges superior to the gels, but never tried them on the X10s for some reason. Could be the tips.
