I made a thread about this hoping to find some reading on how to use parametric eq on the help section. Anyways, still looking outside of youtube for some text if anybody has anything super useful. There might be a harman write up somewhere but I can't find it, yet, and maybe it'd be useful. I wouldn't know what else to really google at this point.
SO - I can set the levels and know what instrument roughly affects what range. But - How would I go about adjusting oratory1990's results for my pair of mdr-z1r's? All I really do is adjust the gain a little for the frequencies for my taste and it has helped quite a bit. I'd like to know how to adjust the Q's or learn why there's what for the results.
My gear is a Mdr-z1r with hybrid pads, new cable is in the mail. I stream/download using Qobuz on a iBasso DX320 at 2.4ghz.
Anyways, I'd really like to discuss what tweaks I might consider to the chart and why. I enjoy a bass presence and everything being present in the motion.
Also, I just lost my eq - so I'm starting over. I've been using poweramp on android which has 31 possible entries for parametric shifts in the frequencies, and I'm using 10.
