I'm new at amps and...

....I need some help.

Hey everyone! Hope everyone's had an awesome summer

That being said, I need some help with choosing an amp. After many (and happy) months spent listening to my AKG K271S out of an ipod, I felt that it would be suitable to start looking at an amp, rather than a new set of headphones.

Preferably, it should be portable and within the 100-150 dollar range. Thanks in advance!

I recently purchased a Porta Corda, selling for around $110-125 , I really enjoy mine, it's sounds great and is a good size. I would also recomend taking a good luck at the Xin/Fixup line of amps as service and performance is top notch. I own a supermini (which I am currently selling

) and have been very pleased especially with its extreme portability. A great introductory amp.
