since May, i had the L/R cables going into the wrong channel on my amp -

but i swear the left from my 0404 was going to what was marked " left " on my amp, could it have come crossed from the factory?

sound has been stranged, right ear biased; thaught my left was really bad --i even requested an appointment w/ an audiologist which has been granted

Lol. I've had gear that had the channels swapped. And gear with a poor channel balance. The problem is likely more widespread in audiophile gear than one would initially think. I imagine many people don't notice it immediately, if ever.
