Well, not really, but the news came to my work and did a piece on the poker room opening up. I was chosen to deal a couple games for the other instructors, as well as the President of the Company and MY boss. Turned out kinda good. Ignore the goof where I forgot to collect antes before picking up my deck, lol.

I do...and if you paid any attention, you'd see that it's all funded by my OWN means as well as my partners means, meaning we have day jobs, goto college and do the whole company thing on the side.

A poker dealer gets the job done, and is a passion of mine. It doesn't even really feel like I'm going to work in the morning. Something which I'm grateful for since MANY people cannot say that.

No need to get bent when someone asks a simple question man. Sorry if I'm not paying attention, although it is rather difficult given the number of self-serving threads that you start.

A poker dealer simply deals cards and adds a bit of personality nothing more nothing less it is not unlike waiting tables. There is nothing wrong with it a good friend of mine deals at a San Jose room but it's hardly something to crow about. I have to laugh at the modern batch of jerks at card rooms that fancy themselves poker mavens wearing shades and sporting ipods. Real players don't need glasses and ipods to play and can stare an opponent cold and plant the seed of doubt with people skills honed over thousands of hands/opponents played. There are stories of WSOP winners getting lunched at money games with old school players.
