Hi there

i just enrolled here. i am an avid audiophile having 2 systems - one currently using the nano iOne as a DAC. The nano came back in place of a pretty expensive and highly regarded DAC - only to replace it and to bring the WOW back .. I do love it in the main system setup, yet, i have few questions for the iFi guys which are very active here and very responsive in a nice way ! All below is concerned with replacing the nano iOne with the pro iDSD, and im referring to the following setup : Mac Mini / Amara > Synergistic 32v USB > nano iOne > Ming Da integrated upgrade MKIII > 615 MKII Tannoys, top VDH wire everywhere. Solid core passive AC wire (no filter box). No AC fuses in the system :

1. How much more should i expect in this upgrade, especially where sound stage is concerned ?
2. Is it the case of "im 90% there already" with the nano - i.e. should i just wait a bit, and turn down my excitement ?
3. Is there a substantial difference between the nano and the iDSD when it comes to the isolated 5V USB power vs AC220 external power (in the iDSD) - when it comes to the audio upgrade expectations ?
4. Since i cannot have a test unit now, what would you say about above if we have to compare my Nano with the SR 32V USB link vs the iDSD with a normal USB cable ?

This is it .. i hope i'm making sense with above and i'll be looking for your reply.

Kind regards,
Ilko Alexandrov
