So just to be absolutely sure: I have the BL constantly plugged into a power supply (iMac) doesn't harm the battery? The fully charged battery lasts about 5 hours now and as I mostly use the BL connected directly to the Mac and don't want to impose an increased risk of wearing out the battery.
thanks and happy new year:fireworks::dt880smile:

I was gifted an iDSD-BL and I intend to use it as a dedicated DAC only.
I'm using SPDIF input to source the digital signal.

Right now I'm just powering it from my PC USB. But PC USB is dirty power.

Does anybody have suggestions for good USB linear power supply?

Doing my own research, this is the best I found < $200 (that's my budget for this, ideally cheaper):

Anybody else have suggestions?

I started to have issues recently where my volume will randomly change. It sounds like the power mode is changing but I am not changing any settings on the device. I think it is failing but has anyone else had this issue?

I have been plugging it into my Roon Nucleus for a few years with the USB power cord that comes with it. Prior to that it was plugged into an older desktop with the same cord. Still sounds great to me.

Hi, was anyone able to DIY - replace the battery?
I found the model specs here, but not able to find where to buy.

PL-M10 li-ion polymer 4800mAh 3.7V
