Ifi idsd micro Black label - micro "pauses" while playing

Hey guys,

Not sure how to express this with the right terms because I'm not a native speaker, neither I am a seasoned audiophile.

While playing tracks from Tidal, through USB from my msc and MQA activated, sometimes the music "stops for a split second"... There is like a small tear in the music. It happens every half hour or so but not regularly.

Does anyone have any idea about what could cause this issue and how to fix it?

Never had this issue with mine when i had it, although I didn’t have tidal then.

Never had that issue with my BL. Maybe it's a network issue for you if you're using the amp with a computer? Does the issue occur with any other use of it, like have you used it with a cell phone or with any other music program?

I ended up taking it back to he store where it was purchased to so some tests and I managed to reproduce the issue there, as well: it happens mostly when I am using Chrome on my mobile or I switch apps... Funny thing is that it did not happen with the test unit they had in store, so we decided to return it to ifi to get the issue looked into and hopefully fixed.
