Oh ok… is it more powerful? Does it work better than the signature with Susvara?
No, the power specs and functionality are exactly the same between the OG iFi iCan Pro and the Signature version. They made some internal upgrades for the Signature version. In theory, your upgraded version with newer internals should work better with Susvara and other headphones than the OG model.

Guys is there any specific reason why I get perfect sound from xlr, but low volume and muddy sound via 4.4mm?

I just bought my unit

Oh interesting. I missed the memo on that and it's non adjustable. My full size can only has 4.4 and 6.3 so that's a potential issue.
Depends on how hard they are to drive and how much EQ you use (headroom). With no EQ the HD800s is plenty loud out of the 4.4 around 11 o’clock on the volume dial. And you have the 6.3 if you need more volume.

That being said....... Can someone tell me what kind of USB cable this is, so I can buy a longer one on Amazon? Are there "better" ones out there? Can someone give me a link to a good one. Thanks
It's a USB 3.0 A to USB 3.0 B cable. A is the flat end, B is the squarish end. 3.0 refers to the speed (and is signified by the blue plastic in the connectors) and for this kind of thing you only need USB 2.0 because there is nowhere near the data transfer rate in doing (say) a backup - not even close.

I have just recently purchased a very short (8" or 200mm), very expensive (USD130) Curious USB cable which is A to 5 pin Mini for sending my music from the SSD to the laptop, and yes, it does make a difference to a normal 5 buck cable. It is also as slow as a wet week for data transfer - but that is not its remit - sound quality is what it's all about.

So I would suggest that you will notice a difference in a USB 2.0 A to B cable made for sound, over a cheap data cable from Amazon. A Curious Evolved cable of 1 metre length will set you back USD590, and the non-Evolved version is USD390. They are pretty popular, judging by how quickly second-hand ones sell. There are many others that are made for sound.
