Sad that it lost the analog input, and as it seems, lost the side USB port as well?

At least they said an USB-C is present on the side for charging the batteries.

By any chance, possible to request a custom iFi iDSD signature in Black at extra cost?

If you're willing to pay extra, do you know of any local shops that could "Black Anodize" the Blue case, if you remove the circuitry?

Does it have analog input of any sort?

From looking at the images they've provided, it doesn't look like there are analog inputs any longer. The fact that the original iDSD had both optical SPDIF and analog inputs, was the reason I bought that unit.

Looks like it is going to be a pass from me if there's no analog input. Really reduces the utility of the Signature.

@iFi audio

Is this the same piece of gear as the iDSD Diablo, seen in a few photos? The reason I ask is I don't want to purchase a signature, and then end up wanting a "Better" iDSD after a few months. The fact the signature is a limited run is what makes me wonder. Thanks for the help.

As far as I know, Diablo is a 25,000 USD dac under AMR.

Yes, but there were rumours of an iDSD Diablo, using tech from the AMR DAC. Im wondering if that morphed into the iDSD Signature.

Should I throw away my Black Lable? How much better is it?
