Is there noticeable sound quality difference between connection with sbc/aptx or aptx hd/ldac? My phone has only sbc/aptx.

Aptx to Aptx HD it is subtle but there. Smoothness gain is what I see. LDAC to Aptx HD, I can’t discern even though LDAC can pass hi bit rates. Also it depends on source and how resolving your headphones/iems are. Also BA vs DD makes a difference atleast to my ears. But one thing is common.. across all codecs go blu is musical. I almost call it mini Sony wm1z

for example my UE fits only supports SBC, aac and Aptx+.. but is DD and I enjoy it even more than my 10 BA driver K10s even though K10s are superior to UE fits in all aspects .. so it just boils down to.. does it put a smile on your face?

Funny reading some of the comments relative to the price point of this little guppy.

Here are my early thoughts:

1. This device is solid. If you buy it, have fun, don't worry so much what it competes with.
2. There is definitely $200 of value here...likely more.
3. Running iPhone --> ifi --> Don't get any hiss or mircophonics (as of yet)
4. The volume knob could be smoother --> little on the clicky/plastic side --> you have to accept some things at this price

Sound is clean + slightly warm ifi house sound. Still amazed at how small this things is. Enjoy your music + Drink IPA/Beer.

the range when playing LDAC is about 8 meters.

As far as GO blu's range goes, it's related to sampling rate pushed over BT. The higher it is, the lesser GO blu's range will be. Now GOblu works as DAC via Lightning>USB from my iPhone!

tbh I find AAC more than good enough for a portable device like this, so probably won’t use this option.
