if you've ever used the subway you probably came across a musician.

There's a guy in NY Central who plays bass on an instrument made with a washing pan and a broom handle. I also remember a time when a girl was playing Vivaldi in one of the platforms and then a cello player joined in from another. The accoustics of the station are very nice and they delivered the most moving rendition of Tempesta that I have heard in a long time. I almost got late to work that day.

Clever (assuming you do know he meant subway in the sense of mass transit).

The Washington Red Line stop in Chicago never fails to disappoint for street musicians. I was coming back from a hip-hop concert with this girl and a guy was singing My Girl, and doing very, very well (as in, normally I hate remakes, but I would've paid for this guys stuff). He also Launched into Stairway to Heaven, which I ended up skipping a train to sing with him.

Too bad Subway discontinued their sticker program.

Carnitas? CARNITAS? If it's pork meat, deep fried in a big pan with animal grease you just opened my apetite. I didn't know hamsters eat meat anyway.

The subway areas around boston always have people singing and playing acoustic guitar. Often mediocre at best.
