Anyone here ever heard of the show Flight of the Conchords on HBO?

My friend just told me about it today... it seems to be a pretty neat show. here's what HBO's site says it's about:

Flight of the Conchords follows the trials and tribulations of a two man, digi-folk band from New Zealand as they try to make a name for themselves in their adopted home of New York City. The band is made up of Bret McKenzie on guitar and vocals, and Jemaine Clement on guitar and vocals. Bret and Jemaine have moved to New York in the hope of forging a successful music career. So far they've managed to find a manager (whose "other" job is at the New Zealand Consulate), one fan (a married obsessive) and one friend (who owns the local pawn shop) -- but not much else.

Yeah really great show. I'm always trying to get tickets to their live show, but its hard to figure out where they're going to play because their website sort of sucks.

The live HBO show was fantastic. The show is good, but the new cuts of their songs pale in comparison to the live show. They really are rather genius.

I agree with Vicomte, though I wonder how much content there is in either. Here's hoping it continues to grow. Some fun stuff there.

Hell, they're all fantastic.

I like that, while being a Comedy band, they are also quite musically interesting. I could listen to their stuff over and over.

Hahah yes, great song. The funny part for me is the other night my girlfriend says "look at the socks I have on"

Ep 6 wasn't the best, but Ep 7 was really funny.

Great show. Didnt like it that much at first, but my friend had me watch 3 or so episodes in a row and it really grew on me. Now I love it. Never seen any of the live stuff though.
