Not weird at all! I often wish I could have seen a few artists I admire so much but, unfortunately, was born in the wrong era. My wishes...

Frank Sinatra
Louis Armstrong
Ella Fitzgerald
Dean Martin
Bing Crosby
John Lennon
George Harrison
Glenn Gould
Billie Holiday

Louis Armstrong
Frank Sinatra
Billie Holiday
Jimi Hendrix
Janis Joplin
John Lennon
George Harrison
John Bonham
Keith Moon

Are a few that I wish would still be making music today, and ones I admire musically.

Do the rockers count here, as they were in very "popular" bands/groups of the day.

Stevie Ray Vaughan. The way he played guitar was amazing, down to every single note.
