id go with yuin pk3. it has a good sq, but all that really matter is comfort. i dont see the point in having one big heavy headphone that has sq like a mermaid but its hurting ur ears and head... its like buying a very good looking bed, but the mattress is made of bricks:lol:

I find mermaids to taste better than they sound. Best grilled and served with tartare sauce.

If I was only allowed to keep one of my phones I would have to choose to keep my APS ER4-S, not because it is the best but it would be the only one that could cover all my bases. Fortunately I don't have to though.

There was a great bar and restaurant called The Mermaid in Hermosa Beach. Unfortunately, the owner died and the family sold old. Another piece of local color disappears to be replaced with condos, chains and snotto boutiques. Grrr.

One headphone? I'd stick with the K-1000.

I think the APS ER4S is easily the most detailed headphone I have heard, I miss mine a great deal! (Hastily sold)

That would be a hard choice between the K501 and the SE530. But if I could only choose one it would be the SE530 for yeoman like work across all music genres and the versatility an IEM provides. You mentioned comfort and they shine there as well.
