if sony wants to improve e888 , which part of it you like to be improved

e888s are great earbuds but they are slightly lacking in sound and comfort.

overall sound presentation of e888 is great and i am sure some modification to it will make it perfect.

any suggestions?

Thats an highly subjective statement

The E888s were being modded by various members as far back as before head-fi was formed... putting on the 'groove' plugs, taking out the paper filter from behind the plastic driver cover... there were some other things, but i forget now.

The best thing they could do with an E999 model (or whatever the designation may be lol) would be to use a driver membrane that doesn't go off, and leave you with earphones that sound nothing how they did 18 months before. It was well known that the E888s almost literally burnt out over that kind of period of time.
