Well my iPod would keep making noise, but I'd probably hear the tree too. Not even the almighty DT770 could block that out.

ofcourse it does. arghh. so what if the person isnt there to hear it, it will make noise to rumbles the leave and scare critters and bird or rodents around. so technically yes. if you havea house or cabin there it'll make a hole in your roof too.

but for wearing headphones, still yes, its a big impact, unless its like a 5ft tree or the person is really that deft.

It'll make a lot of noise if it falls on top of you. If it doesn't, would you really care if it made noise?
