As stated in the title, I'm looking for a pair of iem's for under $100 preferably ~80. I generally listen to progressive house, electro, dubstep and would like some suggestions for iems that have more punchy or tight bass with crisp highs as well. Also, I live in Australia, so prices may be a bit different.

For your genre's I would recommend T-Peos H-100. You would need to stretch to $120 though, but it's a Hybrid IEM which has dynamic bass driver handling the low end and a balanced armature for mids and highs. What you end up with is deep tight fast bass with crisp mids and highs. Lots of clarity. Especially excels in your genre's.

The Sony MH1C would be perfect and they only cost $25 but sound as good as IEM's costing $150, go checkout some of the threads about them and you'll see.
 
If you want really bright highs, a thin sounding mid with good bass than the T-Peos H-100 is for you.  Trust me though (all I listen to is edm / electronica) the MH1C will be perfect.

XBA-1 and GR06 are good but not better than the MH1C.  I have the XBA-1 and they are a very nice IEM and before I heard the MH1C I'd say get them but now that people know about the MH1 its hard to recommend anything else under $100.

You can get meelectronics A161P for 100$ from amazon or 80$~ from meelec with 20% off coupon. Pretty much great IEM for its price. Fit is just comfortable as ever and isolating. Has a inline mic+single button too. Great accessory kit as well as scores great in SQ. Presents mids and vocals the best, mids are fast and detailed, has a good warm touch with enough thump in it, not much of quantity in bass though. Treble has good extension with great timbre and sparkle. Sounstage is moderate but good. Great value for the price with flashy design and stylish packaging.

I got the A161p a week after the BA200 and while its a nice little IEM I thought they would be better than they are after all the positive reviews I read.  They do have a bit more bass quantity than the BA200 but not as good of bass quality imo and they sound somewhat darker than the BA200 at times also.  I think the MH1C is quite a bit better than the A161p but that's a freak of an IEM and the $100 price point of the Mee is right where it should be.
 
If the accurate bass of the BA200 isn't enough than the MH1C isn't a bad choice at all., there's not another IEM under $100 that I can think of that would be better.

I have A161 which I use a lot lately but I dont think it suits OP's genre. A161 bass would be lacking in amount for EDM. I personally use XB90EX and CKM500 , I'd say both are suitable for EDM with XB90EX has more bass body and treble,  which is a bit peaky for my taste.  I don't have Yamaha EPH100 but spent couple hours with it. It's bass had a wow effect for me. Get them if you can.

XBA-1 is not good for bass, check out the Hisound Popo, or DUNU Crater

The JVC FX3X, Turbine, Sony EX310, JVC FXD80, Sony XB90EX, RE0+E5 and Klipsch Image X10 are pretty good for these genres music and they all offers good punchy bass and overall crisp clear soundquality.
