Hey headfiers, I'm just curious and want to know, if anyone else, like me. Has found themselves so happy with iem's that they just don't want to be bothered with full sized cans any longer. I will always keep 2 sets of cans around. But I have been giving away/selling most of my full sized cans and find nothing missing with my iem's. Am I alone?

You are DEFINITELY not alone.
I have seen many people continue to listen to cans,...untill the day they listened to IEM's. They stopped listening to cans completely. They say more detail is heard and more outside noise is blocked. They are lighter on the head and easier to move arround with.

True that. I do feel that my JH13 offer about the best listening experience I've ever had from headphones.

JH13s changed my listening habits, and am listening to music more than I ever used to after being finally able to hear sq I appreciate in a portable rig. Though I prefer my O2 rig, my JH13s get more time due to convenience. I've sold most of my full-size headphones, and the couple I've chosen to keep won't be going anywhere soon.

The biggest issue for me was the listening environment. With radiators, street noise, occasional neighbor noise, whirring hard drives, etc., IEMs are the best way for me to listen carefully to music.

Most of my listening time is spent with IEMs. The convenience and relatively inconspicuous appearance of IEMs just makes them a more practical choice over full-sized headphones for me, when I want quality personal listening on the go. However, I regard them as an an adjunct to my full-sized cans rather than a replacement for them.

Me too, I spend more time with iems than with the full size headphones. I wouldn't give up full size just like headphones can't replace my full size speakers. Truth be told I spend very little time listening to the Harmon/Kardon Velodyne and Paradigm system except when watching movies and listening to DTS-HD High Resolution Audio. All very nice but different. Why pigeon hole yourself by declaring one better than the other?
