My birthday is coming soon and I got coupon from friends to buy IEM :D, I have a good amount of headphones and few iems: SIMGOT SuperMix 4 - Tangzu Fudu Verse 1 - 7HZ - Truthear Zero Red - Arrti T10. I like a lot teh sound of Artti and Supermix 4. So I would like to buy even better IEMs maybe little less bright-sharp than Superrmix 4 with budget 200 - 270.

Few options I'm considering:

- Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite

- Linsoul 7HZ Timeless

- Linsoul SIMGOT EA1000

- Kiwi Ears Quintet

- Linsoul TANGZU X HBB Wu Heyday

I've had the 7hz Timeless a few times and another pair coming Friday. They're tuned so good out of the box, but I just like the original, the AE version bass didn't have much slam/fun to it. Balanced 4.4mm cables and a Fiio D2 DAC and you'll be all set for a noticeable upgrade. I had those too, the Artti T10 was fun with bass slam, but the treble got to me. The Truthear Zero red had thinner vocals than the lush sounding blue ones, but low distortion for gaming was cool. The Simgot has nice fit and finish, but the sound didn't justify the price compared to the Tanchjim Ola I'm using now for a daily driver. If you get the Timeless or Ola with the Fiio D2 using the 4.4mm side you won't regret it. Those are all in my "never sell" drawer of happiness.

Aful Explorer or Aful Performer 5+2 (P7). Much truer timbre vs the Simgot in my experience. Explorer is a good bit darker vs the P7 but the P7 sub bass is better and it's easy to tone down too much treble. On that note, have you made precise custom eq profiles for yourself? That can be a quite the upgrade for no cost.

I tried a few but I couldnt get that quality in sound that I'm liking so much, something close to the one of EDXS

I've tried a few planar-only IEMs and they simply don't yet come close to matching full-size planars. I have the Ananda Stealth and had the EDXS for a few weeks at the same time. Great HP, both, Ananda strap simply fit me better.

I think small planars should be used for sub bass/bass not as tweeters but so far I've not seen any hybrid that use them in this way. Try the P7 if you can. The micro planar does add a nice bit of air to complement the 4 BAs and dual DDs compared to the Explorer, it's surprisingly versatile to my ears but the Explorer is the best <$100 USD set I've tried by far.
