I've been looking for an IEM for using on transport/vacations and also at the office. I've not owned an IEM before so would like some advice.
I'm currently looking between the Andromeda/Vega or 64audio U12 or any suggestions around that price range (will not go higher than a U12). If anyone with experience of those could give me a comparison that would be great! I would only consider a universal as I can still sell if I would want something else later. Portable source would be WM1A or a DX200. I would prefer no to little sound leakage and good noise isolation.
I listen mostly to pop(adele/ed sheeran like), rap (all kinds of rap) and movie soundtracks (like hans zimmer). I do listen to other music such as edm and stuff like daft punk but not as frequently. I don't do much critical listening and rather enjoy my music and for relaxation.
Currently my most used headphones at home are the Sony Z1Rs paired with the TA-ZH1ES. I do like the sound of this combination but feel vocals could be more forward (songs without vocals are imo one of the best).
TIA!
