The ER4's are good for isolation and extreme detail. I have listened to them a few times. I personally however have the UE Triple.fi 10's I think they have a better overall balanced sound. They have a very nice open spacey sound. I've also had the SE530's and while they amazed me very much as soon as I got the Triple.fi's I liked those better.
