IEM + DAP Synergy Thread

I want to start a thread where everyone discusses from their experience what combo of IEM + DAP works really well. I want to limit it to IEMs only. Pictures please!!!

1. Cowon P1 + Westone ES60 = Thick, lush, excellent layering, deep but tight impact on bass, very analog




2. Astell & Kern AK300 + Sennheiser IE80 = Very musical, smooth, and thick. Lack a little clarity and layering.




3. FiiO x7 + Sony XBA-Z5 = No hissing because X7 hisses with just about every BA IEM!!! Excellent soundstage and clarity.

SE846 in TRRS with ZX2.  This combo left KSE1500 and Layla V.2 collecting dust for months.

The Shuoer Tape Pro has divided opinion but it may be because it is very source sensitive. I have found a very good combination, Sony NWZ-A15 > TRI Through cable > Tape Pro with KBEAR grey/red wide bore tips. Very natural sound with excellent detail. Definitely synergy at work here.

btw this is a great idea for a thread and could help someone who is new to all this with their purchases
