I'm nearly sold on the IE8s. I love my Sennheiser cans (HD595s) and have had luck with the Sennheiser CX-series. That being said, my ears just don't seem to react well to deep-fitting IEMs (such as the Shure E2Cs). This is probably my fault, since I'm not putting them in correctly. Question is, how do the IE8s stack up against the Shure SE530s and Westone 3s in terms of comfort. I don't care how good they are, if you don't get a good seal and they are uncomfortable, these high priced IEMs are not worth it. Thanks for any advice.

I used some silicon tips that are pretty large (from some other inexpensive Chinese IEMs), and get a very good seal without deep insertion into my ear canals. Very comfortable for hours at a time. Of course, isolation is not as good as with bi- or tri-flanges, but still much better than conventional headphones.
