Welcome.  My first meet back in 2011 is what got me to finally register after lurking for many years before.

I might make the drive if it's in Charlotte. That's around 3 hours. Raleigh would be a little too much of a drive for me, five and a half hours.

Nice welcome to head fi and sorry in advance about you wallet, reading posts makes me excited to buy stuff... I can only imagine hearing stuff will... well My wallet might stay home for this meet lol as a protective measure xD

As an update regarding the specific location, Fatcat and I will get together after the first of the year and scout out some options. We will aim to go slightly north of Charlotte, along I 77 somewhere, to make it a little easier for those traveling from the north. What we do need is a fairly accurate idea of the number of attendees to help guide us regarding the size of the room, especially to help avoid it being too small. 
 
JWahl will be posting a formal notice, via a new thread, in the near future for people to sign up and list what they will be bringing. Please respond to this in a timely manner to help us gauge the attendance. As per JWahl, we are looking at March or April.
