i have spent countless hours reaearching to build the perfect tube amp, i was soo close untill i found out the enclosure i want to use will cost me over $200 (in this thread). i completely lost interst in searching for a ideal enclosure. so decided to see if anyone's intersted in this kit.

this is a Mapletree Audio Mad Ear+ Purist kit with Black Gate electrolytic capacitor and Auricap polypropylene film capacitor signal capacitor upgrade kit ($60 value), a Gray Hill(?) stepped attenuator rotary switch ($20 value) from Sewer Guy and doobooloo's group buy, and a 12-step sellect-able muti-input rotary switch i purchesed from Dr. Lloyd Peppard.

however this kit was purchesed without the Ear+ enclosure, i wanted to be creative and use a different, more appealing enclosure to house this highly-praised tube amp. if you are a die-hard, hardcore DIYer, this kit is perfect for you!

almost everything you need to build this amp is included, from power cable to RAC jacks to hook-up wire and even solder is included. the only thing you need is a enclosure and resistors that goes on the stepped attenuator, (value can be found here, 100k) however this is isnt required, there is a standard 100k pot included also, but the stepped attenuator is always a big plus.

pictures speakes a thousand words, so here you go:
(click on the pix for higher-resoulation images)

i would list every single part included in this kit, but the list is HUGE. so if you are intersted, please go to page 21 of Ear+'s manual, the only thing missing from that list is the enclosure, i even have mounting screws.

in addtion to that list, you will also receive:
-Signal capacitor upgrade kit for Ear+ Purist (2 Auricap polypropylene film capacitors plus 4 Black Gate electrolytic capacitors)
-Gray Hill(?) stepped attenuator rotary switch
-12-step sellect-able muti-input rotary switch

on Dr. Lloyd's site, Ear+ Purist cost $335.00 for the kit and $395.00 assembled without shipping, Signal capacitor upgrade kit cost $60 +$10 extra for shipping, comes up to $395+ $30 shipping for the kit and $455 +$30 shipping if assembled, i would like to get $350 shipped within US including all the extras.
i can ship world wide as well, buy you will have to pay for the shipping

i can accept money order and PayPal. please let me know if you are intersted
thanks!
Brandon

[edit] oh, forgot to metion, this kit also comes with amazingly detailed, printed manual/assembly guide and wiring diagram. over 30 pages!

How much extra was the original MAD enclosure, is that included in the
$335 price for the kit from MAD? Can it be bought separately?
