Hello,
I have narrowed it down to these two amps for my er4p's. Any input from you guys would be great. I have heard wonders with the pairing of the minibox with the er4p. Does the t3 have enough lower end to compare at all?

Thanks,
Todd

minibox is the only amp I use for my Etys. Almost permanently strapped together. That said, though, Todd the Vinyl Junkie is out of these amps until sometime late winter/early spring. So F/S column are the best source right now. You may also want to read Mrarroyo's review of the Minibox which is here on the Portable Amp forum

Does anyone know how the quantity of bass on the t3 compares to the t4 and even the fiio e3? I mention the e3 for reference sake. It's the only one that I have.

The quality of bass on the T3 is better articulated and cleaner when compared to the T4. The T3 sounds like and is a different amp in that the rest of the frequency range is better defined and I find the soundstage larger.

As much as I like the T3 I would choose the MiniBox-E+ specially if you can use the AD797 op-amps as I can on my older MiniBox-E+

However, I should get my T3 back in about a week (sent it out on loan) and I will do a side by side and post the results. One thing is for shure the T3 is not only smaller but also about half the cost which makes the T3 a major bargain.

I went ahead and ordered a T3 today. We will see. I'm sure it will be a fine amp. I have heard nothing but great things about them. I sure do hope it warms up the er4's a bit. Sure it will be fun. Thanks for all the great input guys.

I've had mine for 2 days now and it helps fill out my RE0 phones a good bit.

Don't expect much communication from iBasso, tho' -- maybe a purchase confirmation or shipping address verification, probably that's all. But about 5 days after your purchase, it will show up on your doorstep in a UPS plastic Express Pak!

It's like they are behind a communications wall ... a great wall ... in China ...

I am glad that I read this. I have not heard a WORD or LETTER from them since the purchase. Was wondering if it was processed. Has come out of my account though. Thanks. This makes me feel better.

whats better the mininbox-e or iBasso D4?

You probably mean the MiniBox-E+ which is the latest version, the MiniBox-E has not been in production for a couple of years. I should get my D4 back in a week and will compare them. If you need a DAC then the D4 is the way to go, plus I have read the latest update (push button versus a switch) to the MiniBox-E+ does not work well w/ the AD797 op-amp which IMO greatly improves the sound of the MiniBox-E+.
