I have 202. They naturally all have numbers allready and they just shipped them out to resellers and kept what they sell themselves. Theoretically last one to get a pair could get 1/500.

Mine was 226.
Of course it could be possible that they make them in batches and last 100 are still at the factory. I'd think it is unlikely though.
I have hardly any time to listen my pair. Initial listen was promising. Only thing I can say is that sr1 sounds definately like a open headphone instead of closed unlike someone previously said.
I try to measure these next weekend If I got the time.

It sounds like you're listening in a hall to me, more closed than true open yet not quite as claustrophobic as truly closed phones imo. Stoked to hear it through the Massdrop THX, hopefully before this month's end.

This was exactly what I said. It leaks out sound as much as an open back but sound like a closed back. Looking from the point of view of being a closed back, it could easily be very open and great sounding for a closed back. However, leaking out as much as an open back completely defeat the purposes of privacy from a closed back. Then, if you look at it as an open back, it sounds more like a closed back. This is why it is hard to say what SR1 really want to be.It sounds like you're listening in a hall to me, more closed than true open yet not quite as claustrophobic as truly closed phones imo. I know @twister6 wants a completely closed back SR1, I want an open back. Therefore I tossed in perforated pads, and Voila!! Magic happened. For even myself, spoiled by Stax and Hd800S, I still love it with perforated earpads, and welcome it, then I know SR1 is now a very special phones for $500. Especially that bass, imagines, and mid range, beautiful through and through

After reading everyone's impressions on this headphone, I pulled the trigger as I wanted a new headphone for my office setup.
Has anyone tried the ZMF Eikon/Auteur pad (perforated) on these? Would the SR1 headband system hinge/rotate/accommodate angled pads when worn? Just curious if angled pads would do anything for these headphones.
On a side note, iBasso customer support was awesome. There was an error when checking out and somehow multiple orders went through when checking out with PayPal. Customer support e-mailed me relatively quickly to confirm orders and refunded the error very promptly.

Ibasso customer services are top notch. They are very promptly responding your questions and requests. Thank you Paul@ibasso.
Sadly can't find anything like this in Germany. Seems like the SR1 is a no go for me then. Really wish they'd sell a XLR cable..What I'm doing is using a CB15 cable with one of these.
It's going to be hard to find a cable with locking MMCX connectors.

@Whitigir do you suggest any vendor websites to buy online? Or using adapter is another option? Thanks.
Seconding that. I can find plenty of MMCX cables online, but none of them are actually terminated to 4 pin XLR.@Whitigir do you suggest any vendor websites to buy online? Or using adapter is another option? Thanks.

Contact Trevor at Norene Audio. He will put something up for you. Otherwise, with soldering skills, you can make one too!

Especially @singleended5863 , you can solder. I would buy a CB14 from Ibasso, and convert it to XLR instead of 4.4mm, or you can convert your stock SE into it

I might use an adapter 4.4 female for SR1 to male XLR 4 pins to a balanced amp.
